Recently in South Dakota cheerleading was made into an official sport on January 1, 2007.  At my school I still here only negative comments toward the cheerleaders and how it isn't a sport even though they have never been to a practice in their life.  One thing that I would like to point out, why would it not be a sport if they have a practice everyday.   The practices are strenou

Last year at my high school we were able to make it to state for girl's basketball and won undeafeted 26-0.  HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT.  Catch?  There were 8 seniors on the basketball team so we were not sure what to expect this year from the "new" team coming up.

Prom is such a big deal every single year.  From the school advertising it to all the companies advertising it.  What has happened to the old traditions though?
