UN : Good to Children (a little too much)

Two years ago, in the war-stricken Congo, UN troops (those are supposed to be the good guys, right?) were caught up in a scandal that resulted in the ban of any soldier having sexual relations with any local. The reason? Having sex with underage prostitues.

And, since it wasn't enough then, they're at it again. This time it's poverty-stricken Liberia, with unemployment at 80%, that suffers the creepy "peacekeeping" child-abusers. As one 14 year old girl said, it's "the only way to pay for school fees."  Read More »

And I thought our Administration was bad!

Well, we got our first official casualties of the Hamas vs. Fatahs. Three dead soldiers (two Fatahs supporters, one a Hamas supporter) in a fire. Officials were pretty quick to say that it was a bad circuit that started the blaze, but no one has ruled out that the bad ciruitry was intentional.

Of course, we've all got our problems. But electing known terrorist leaders isn't an American issue. Sure, Bush is bad, but at least he didn't father a suicide bomber. Which is what one of the women elected to the Palestinian parliment was; she openly endorsed her son's attack on a public building in Israel.  Read More »

How personal is sexuality?

It's so darn heated. Sexuality. Gender-change. Gay. Lesbien. Sexual exploration. All of it. Not just homosexuality, either. The entire range of sexual feelings, from lust to mastribation. It's all so darn heated!

And I'm just wondering why.

As a bisexual myself, I understand that it is neccessary for people to be open about what they are. 'Can't catch any fish if you aren't seen at the pond' kind of deal. But my question is, how much of one's sexual life needs to go public?  Read More »
