Technology is taking over the world! It is not that we cannot live without it, we just do not want to. I see my friends with Ipods, new cell phones, laptops, PSP, and t-mobile sidekicks everyday. And I wonder, when will they ever stop? Does technology really make our lives better? No, I think it just makes our lives easier. We are getting lazy. What ever happened to going to the library or hanging out at the mall? Our society has become even more information-centric and "connected" as ever. The internet, oh, it's great! For my English class last year, I had to make a project about a dystopia world. I ended up making a prediction of what it would be like a thousand year from now. I exagerrated many things. However, when I reread it not so long ago, it became quite surprising to me of how close my dystopia world is close to the world that we have today.
