OMG! I FINALLY found something that UNITES us!

We're all mad at Walmart and protesting Walmart.

via the Hill again:

Some Christian conservative groups say both Wal-Mart and the Republican Party have “forsaken God.” And just as the GOP took a hit in the elections earlier this month, the groups say the retail giant’s lower-than-expected November sales figures are the wages of that sin.  Read More »

I can't help it. This is so cute!

'Thumbelina Horse'

Thumbelina is 17.5 inches tall and weighs only 60 pounds. My Uncle's dog weighs more than that.

Wow! I'd love to have that horse. I wonder if my apartment manager would let me get that and a dog!

Video game simulates murder of random people-NOT "enemies".

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •    •

Wow! I'm totally speechless at this one!

Rockstar has produced a video game that simulates opening fire at a Best Buy AND they SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS!.

“This is a great game,” said Rockstar spokesman Rodney Walker. “Those who are criticizing it are not even giving it a chance. The premise is very simple and very harmless: You open fire on innocent people standing in line at a Best Buy, and when everybody is dead you walk around and collect their Playstations. If you want, you can bludgeon the corpses with a baseball bat. So what are people complaining about? It’s not like there’s a sex scene in it or something.”  Read More »

Jimmy Carter: "Iraq Invasion...One Of The Greatest Blunders That American Presidents Have Ever Made"....

65% or more of our nation would agree with that statement. And 90% of the world would agree with it too.

Thousands dead. Americans and Iraqis. 3-4% of Iraqis civilians dead. This is not only a blunder, it's an atrocity!  Read More »

Can your job prospects be hurt by attending protests and being active politically?

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •

This is scary! And yet this could affect every single one of us.

"The FBI wants to start including "non-serious offenses" on criminal-history reports to employers – a move some say could unduly taint people’s job prospects and spread misinformation.

If the proposal goes into effect, many employers using the FBI’s system could discover a job applicant had been convicted for drinking in public, or had been arrested for vagrancy as a teenager, among other offenses."  Read More »
