I just read  ANOTHER article about how the FDA is disregarding public saftey, human rights and altogether  ignoring any kind of morality. The FDA  is almost completely a puppet  of big pharmaceutical companies.  They companies pay the FDA to approve things that they KNOW will make us sick, like Aspartame,  and  Vioxx, which was finally banned in 2004.  They pay the FDA to not require them to label these products as  harmful. They pay the FDA to look the other way  when there are any kind of reasearch findings  that  aren't in line with  what the pharmaceutical companies want us to think.  The FDA now is threatening to raid CHERRY ORCHARDS because the  cherry has been discovered to have very therapeutic effects on people with arthritis and all sorts of other ailments. They're scared Americans will find out about it and choose to use something natural to ease their pain, instead of buying drugs from them. This is getting so freaking rediculous! HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO TAKE THIS CRAP??

I've been learning a lot about the global disaster that is Aspartame. Our government has allowed a terrible neurotoxin to be approved for human consumption all in the name of getting paid. Now that I am aware of the dangers and also that this toxic chemical is in over 8,000 products, I ahave checking into every product I use in my home to make sure it doesn't get into me or my little girls systems. Every night my little two year-old irl brushes her teeth with this Orajel Fluoride free toddler toothpaste. I got it because Fluoride is another chemical that is detrimental to the hman body, but is still available for us to use every day. The FDA is such a joke. Anyway. I was wondering if it has aspartame in it, but thanks to Monsanto, companies are not required to list all ingredients of non-food items. Even though drugs and cosmetics get into our bodies just like food does. Sometimes even faster if it is absorbed through a mucous membrane, such as the inside of our mouths. So I found out it doesn't contain aspartame, but it does have saccharin (Monsanto's first sweet carcinogenic) and a bunch of other scientifically-named stuff I don't have a good feeling about. So I'm not going to use it anymore, and I will be letting them know about why. I don't understand why they acknowledge that fluoride is not safe to ingest, but they think saccharin is ok. I have seen Sweet-n-Low (saccharin) all my life and it has always had the lab rat cancer warning on the back! This is so discouraging. President Bush last Friday rejected calls to tax oil companies' record profits fueled by high oil prices but said he expects those companies to re-invest those profits into alternative fuels and new energy technologies. Why wouldn't he want to collect taxes from huge companies who are making kazillions of dollars? Are we not supposed to have a 3 trillion dollar national debt? Don't you think taking care of that would at least be on the President's mind a little bit? Why does he want to have the weight of paying for everything resting squarely on the backs of taxpayers? I personally think it is time to take some drastic measures when it comes to our government! Ok, I quit drinking cow's milk and now drink soy milk. The purpose of cow's milk is to take a baby cow from birth to 600 pounds in a year! I am not a baby cow, even though I'm well on my way to 600 pounds. lol But seriously, there are so many growth hormones in cow's milk naturally, much less the residue of hormones the cow's are injected with by greedy commercial farming operations. It is unnatural for us to be drinking cow's milk! BABY COWS DON'T EVEN DRINK IT AFTER THEY'RE A YEAR OLD!!! So anyway, as we know, it's all about money. The dairy board is of course going to tell you you'll crumble if you don't have the calcium in milk, but calcium is in everything now! Orange juices, breakfast cereals, even certain kinds of peanut butter!! And that's not to mention the numerous natural sources of calcium.

The government doesn't care about keeping you healthy! They want us to have enough energy to go to work so we can pay taxes, and then sit our feeble asses in front of the television until it's time to go to bed before going to work the next day.  If they were interested in keeping us healthy, things that poison our bodies would be illegal, like cigarettes and artificial sweeteners. Don't believe something because the government says it. Of course the dairy board is going to tell you milk is good for you. That's their job, for which they get $PAID$!
