Dear Leftists,

(I am one, I admit, though perhaps not what some rightist think of when they think of leftists...can you tie my shoe now because I'm confused and I think I have them on backwards.)  Read More »

War Calls, the Economy Stalls

"Economy Has Worst Growth Since 2002
Businesses cut back on inventory investment as they tried to make sure unsold stocks of goods didn't get out of whack with customer demand. That lopped off nearly a percentage point to first quarter GDP...."

For the Writers out there

I haven't been around in a while. Unfortunately after my great spate of writing in a previous quarter, I became ill, and its not really getting any better. However I do enjoy coming and reading quite a bit. I have found some incredibly talented writers and want to pass on this link. Its for Constant Content and it is where you can sell some of your writings.  Read More »

Bit Torrent is Painful

I have recently been introduced to the world of bit torrent. Say, six hours ago. Now, I'm not a downloader. I feel connecting to other computers is an awful lot like sex, and one needs to be really careful.  But I won't go into that analogy. I also don't care enough about most things on tv to learn a whole new technology when I can just get it on dvd or ask someone to tape it for me. However, today I ran across something free, and legal that I really really wanted. Except aaaarrgh, it was in this strange bit torrent format. Since I knew this wasn't anything anybody could get for me, I embarked on the bit torrent journey. First thing, like a newb, I went to wikipedia, tracked to the bit torrent site and downloaded Bit Torrent. I was too green to know there was something like azureabasura(sp) utorment, or bitmeintthebot.  Read More »

I abort babies

So I noticed throughout this contest some people got into some mudslinging, and got tied up in some immature distractions.

Some people got seriously flamed. Some did some serious flaming, and some...well went both ways.

But really nothing like the above, and most certainly I have never had my blog hijacked by these kinds of conversations, though I'm not sure it would break my heart because I have an incredible capacity to ignore. Nor have people felt the need to come to my blogs just to mess with me.  Read More »

Wild Horses is metaphorical.   Read More »

Its okay to disagree

You know, for my whole three weeks I've been on here, I've really advocated a peacful approach for interacting. I haven't always been as peaceful as I like, but still pretty pacifistic. However I find extreme value in dissent. Do I like the way some people talk to each other on here? No. But its a great lesson on how to negotiate an environment filled with different people, and personality types, and different veiwpoints. The different personalities also make things interesting. Peace is great, so is respect. But theres also only so much zenning and quiet pleasant dronelike voices one can take before one craves a diversity in volume and singers.  Read More »

The united states needs a new president.

I believe the United States needs a new president and they needed it six years ago. It is within the American right to get a new president if the current president is not only not meeting their needs but stripping America of its Consitution and democracy, as well as endangering it domestically and internationally.

We have this pretty cool thing called impeachment as the tool of the people.  Read More »
