I have to say something, and I don't care how many people hear it, just as long as someone does.

Knit for Peace
So I really like to knit. I think a lot of people are starting to learn to knit these days. There are a lot of cool organizations out there that you can donate the things you knit to. Knit for Kids, Afghans for Afghans, and Warm Woolies are three such organizations. Knit for Kids has a particular pattern for sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 sweaters for kids.
My religion is your religion
I'm protestant, sort of. I was baptized Methodist, but I usually go to a United Church of Christ church on Sundays, though when I'm at school I go to the general Protestant service, and sometimes I go to Catholic mass with my boyfriend.
learning Spanish and life lessons
Right now, I want to be in Nicaragua. I want to sit on a chair in a doorway and not do anything, just soak up the warm weather and sun and Spanish. I want to ride in the back of a pickup truck, standing up, with the wind in my hair and the bright stars above me. I want to have a tiny house with nothing in it, just fresh fruits.
My insides are green!
Lately I've been trying out being a vegetarian. I tried it before, but it was too difficult in high school because we didn't have very many options at my house that were meat-free. Now that I'm at college it's actually really easy. My best friend is a vegetarian, and she wants to be a chef someday. She's always reading books on nutrition.
Challah back, y'all
Everybody knows about the Holocaust. Ok, ok, way to start your blogging right off the bat with a huge downer. What I'm trying to say here, is that there is still genocide going on today that not everyone knows about. Darfur. It's in the news more these days, and as a result is becoming more fashionable. Sending aid and being concerned about those in Darfur, that is to say.
