Motivational is a complete understatement. Nikki Giovanni was inspirational, influential, energetic, compelling, and impressive; in her speech at The Union Wednesday. Nikki didn’t make have anything to hide, or prove to anyone in the audience. She is all that she says she is. World renowned poet, speaker, activist, and writer has always been outspoken, and this was not different.

When I think of diversity, I think of diversity of religion, race, and nationality. Diversity has a variety of a specified subject. In my high school we were all a diverse school on the aspect of race and nationality. There were various races and nationalities present at our school.

My parents are Charles and Sharmagne Taylor. My mother was told that, I was a girl at 3:33 am at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.
