Why is going to Africa so important to R-E-L?

Everyone knows that Africa is something that is very important to me. I figure that since people ask me questions about 'why' all the time, I might as well explain myself.

So, why do I care so much about Africa?

I think the question that I should propose is 'why not?'

With President Bush's final months in the white house nearing the end, we are faced with the new repsonsibility of educating ourselves on the new candidates.
Few of us will be sad to see Bush leave and worried that a democrat will take his place.
While others, like myself, will be glad to see him go and hopeful for a better future president.
