So, my brother is graduating from college May 10th. Being that he is my brother and I love him, I am going to go no matter that graduation ceremonies are among the most boring time you can spend in a place usually designed to host crowd-pleasing events. Are we eating ourselves into a national health crisis? Why don’t we support local farms and community supported agriculture at a higher level? Would an increase in local farms help reduce the risks associated with large factory farms? What scares you more, the health risks associated with the factory farms (unhealthy/at-risk animals being slaughtered) OR the risk of animal cruelty (tortured soul)?

Think Progress

I think “Progress?” every time I am reduced to the qualities that make me a mere statistic. Every time I am grouped according to my gender or age, I yearn for progress. I yearn for peers who look past my age, weight, height and color to the content of my thoughts, ideas and speech.
