I was reading about the NIU Massacre on Cnn.com. It made me realize, how are we suppose to protect ourselves from something like that? I am a college sophomore and every time I walk outside on campus or I'm sitting in my class, I sometimes think to myself, "Something can or will happen any second now." How are we suppose to prevent this?
Has anyone heard of it?

I was reading one of the articles on Yahoo.com about watermelons and something that probably most of us did not know is that watermelon contains lots of potassium. Has anyone thought of that?
One day I was attending my chemistry class and during the class, I found out that the whole campus was on lockdown because there was a guy that was carrying something suspicious (then later found out it was an umbrella). It got me thinking, just because of the massacre that has just happened, why do things change NOW and why wasn't it like the way it is now before?
Many children today are not being educated enough and who is to blame for that, the teachers or the children?
My friend and I tend to claim that we are overweight. When we look in the mirror, of course, it makes us depressed and disappointed in ourselves. I was wondering what other wasy that there are to lose weight. Not only to lose weight, but still stay healthy.
So i've been to a catholic school all my life. And I have been taught that Jesus is not God. I can totally agree. Just because he has done miracles doesn't necessarily mean that he's God. God gave him the power to heal the sick and what not. Who did he pray to before he was crucified? God. Who did he try to talk to while he was hanging on the cross?
