Thinking it through...

A bill was recently passed in the house in Florida requiring that a woman would have to wait 24 hours to get an abortion after first seeking one, and would also make it more likely that a woman would see an ultrasound of the fetus before the abortion was performed.

Just to make a few things clear...

As the debates for presidential candidates are beginning, I just felt it was important to address the use of generalizing in our current political system. I think it is interesting to see how there are variances in political parties, as these debates will point out, but everyone seems so ready to call each other names, when we don’t know anything about each other.

Where were you when the towers fell?

When I first joined, I thought it would be an interesting way to share my views with other people. I like debating about topics, but I don’t like arguing, which is what is going on here.

In all the blogs about controversial topics, the focus is on the issue intself rather than the people behind the issues. We look at things like gay marriage, abortion, illegal immigration, and all we see is how the group is affecting our society. But what if we looked to the individual?
