The more I hear these "mistakes" that Obama says, the more I like him!

I want to see Ralph Nader on the ballot and in the debates. I may or may not vote for him, but I want the option. For too long the Republicans and Democrats have dominated the elections and this has left us with little choice. Rather than voting for the candidate we feel represents us best, we end up voting for the lesser of two evils.

What happened to rap and hip-hop? Just the other day I was driving around in my friend’s car when we heard a song on the radio. I thought it had a good sound but then I started listening to the lyrics,

Bounce that ass till ya cant no mo'
Make ya ass touch the flo'
Like ya legs are broke
Take that big ol' booty girl and scrub the ground
You can do it up and down
Or round n round

Subtractive Schooling

What happens if you are not the stereotypical student, if you don’t fit the mold? Schools act like filters, sifting through students trying to find which ones don’t fit our society, if you don’t fit you either allow yourself to be molded or you are rejected.

Fitting the Mold

If you graduated high school, you suffered 13 years of domestication. You, the high school graduate, were beaten, ridden into the ground, and broken to fit a mold. That mold is best exemplified by the white, middle-class, entrepreneurial Christian male.

If I had been one of the smart ones in school, I would have dropped out.
