After doing some reading, I find that sheeponabandwagon really believes that the scholarship is a scam. Now, I can think of approx. four reasons why he would say this:
1. he really does believe it, and it is
2. he really does believe it, and it is not
3. he just likes saying it to mess with people
and
4. if he convinces enough people that it is a scam, then they won't try and he'll sneak up from behind and win it!

Progressive Scholarship a Scam? Ooh, Mystery!
Home Equity Line of Credit
We must have website moderators/webmasters - the "Featured Blogger" shows us that someone must be in charge. If so, why haven't they kicked out "blogger" "Home Equity Line of Credit?" This annoying ad has been posted on at least 3 of my blog comments. If this website is going to tout progressive principles and an intellectual forum for students, I think it would not be asking too much to keep bots like Home Equity for registering and or posting.
Fastweb Scholarship
Let's be honest, how many of you users are here because the progressive scholarship was listed on fastweb.com? I know I am.
Ever, has a past "fastwebber" been the one to win? It seems impossible - someone with perhaps three weeks worth of posts beating one posting for 1-2 years.
Although I am a "fastwebber," I still do try to turn out quality content. Like many of the users on this site, I am interested in current events (I listen to NPR everyday and read TIME weekly). But are there users that don't and just write blogs on..well..nothing?
Packaged Publishing
This stems out of the recent Kaavya Viswanathan scandal:
In TIME magazine, James Poniewozik noted that Kaavya shares her copyright for her book with Alloy Entertainment, a book packager. This means the company "develops ideas" and "hires writers" who "deliver a finished product to publishers."
I must admit, I'm an aspiring author, so this makes me think. Packaged publishing? WTF? How do I evem describe it?
I Hate Gays
I hate gays.
I do not believe in the born gay theory, and I do not like gays. Or homosexuals. Whatever they call themselvs these days. The Bible explicitly states that all gays are going to Hell, and this is one thing I wholeheartedly believe, if anything. They should all just confess their sins, go to counseling, and get a life. All this demonstrating just makes them look stupid. Not that they aren't already. Okay, not really (at ALL, this post was really hard to write). The previous (and latter) are completely untrue statements. But I just wanted to see how many people actually read the whole post before zipping straight to the end to turn out a comment. If you read this, comment "all." Separating the serious readers from the thrill seeking skimmers. In short, they make me cringe. I also don't believe in bisexuals or transgender. The mere thought is unnatural and ungodly.
Devil's Advocate
As I stay on Progressive U longer and as my posts grow in multitude, I realize the more I play devil's advocate while typing up my more recent posts. Perhaps it's just the overall truculence of some other users' opinions on this site. Perhaps it's the utter rudeness in some of the comments I've read. Perhaps it's just because many times comments seem to have taken my posts in a completely wrong direction. I feel that I have to type to enclose every possible situation, and I mean EVERY possible situation (This doesn't mean I do it).

This is quite frivolous, but I found it quite entertaining.
