Stereotyping has been a part of my life. I'd like to think I'm not the person who stereotypes, but others stereotype me because of how I look. Ignorance surrounding others' beliefs about me clouds their vision, distorting reality, so that I fit into his or her stereotype. I think it is awful, because I am helpless to control it. The only thing I can do is to educate myself so as to be able to explain and express myself to others so that they can learn. My whole approach is to systematically teach others, even if they don't really want to learn. Read More »

what the bleep do we know movie...anyone seen this? aw man its so bad ass!
I felt myself smiling at a lot of the subject matter in the movie. Things people said and did made me smile. I guess it is nice to know that I am not the only one who thinks the way I do. A scientist, journalist, or a professional in any field can all explain purpose in life and roles in the universe using their own professional jargon and equations, but essentially, it can be agreed upon that the answer sought is much more complicated and complex than any jargon or fancy equations, no matter how much one attempts to explain it. being single
Being a single woman is an experience worth writing about, I guess. Like everything else in life, being single has its ups and downs. There are lessons I've come to learn because of my being single. I've also analyzed possible reasons as to why I am single. I've never been much into relationships anyways. The guys I went out with from the age of 12 to the present have always dumped me. I can't think of a time when a guy didn't dump me. That really didn't bother me too much because the reason guys dumped me was because of something I wasn't going to change. Read More »

getting fit
I've always been fairly active. However, I have come to realize that my fault lies in my eating habits. Getting fit is like becoming balanced. lucid dreams
Lucid dreams
Built by arrows
Being shot up into the sky
One by one, leading like steps of a ladder
Back to my homeland
Up to the World of the Sky
I feel my Mind disconnecting from my body
I don't know why.
It scared me the first couple times
But now I decide
To simply let go
Let my dreams take me wherever they want me to go
As I learn to control
To take matters into my own hands
As I dictate in dreams, my wants
Dreams manifesting lucidly
24 hours a day
Asleep or awake.
Leaving this land and its "rules" behind
As I transcend and float through time Read More »
