Stupid Love

Why is it I can only look into my own eyes in the mirror when I'm alone; as though if I were to look at myself in public, they'd be able to see what I see -- fear. A certain fear that no one will ever love this face that taunts me. A certain fear of growing old alone.

This is what happens when her and myself can't control ourselves. When I argue with her STUPID actions and she laughs at me getting tense.

I write:

how many times have I
wished to go back in time

and one last flashback
tell me one last time
everythings alright

cause though a new day is dawning
and the people enter softly
like a movie frame set out in orange light.
there are plenty of new faces

Have you seen the tunnel
cause I have seen the light
this feeling to be set free
no longer muscles tight

I have let go of this burden
or at least believe it's gone
I am crawling out of hiding
cause I'm able to move on

Yet by a thin clear strong
I am still attached
Strengthen Visibility
and understand the catch
that though I'm feeling lifted
and now I'm feeling strong

I heard you shout out the other day
in strife and anger and weld up pain
I felt you voice crawl through my skin
and I remember once again

How in the past this has occurred
and how I'd helped you out before
but now I can hear you so clearly
shouting out and breaking free
as you scream your throat starts to bleed
able to see, let it be
You scream and bleed just to let it be.
