I'm not 100% certain how of all the 'sensitive areas' you could hide weapons if you so desire, that breasts could be one of them. I mean, I could think of a couple of ways, but none of them are very practical or all that comfortable. And, I feel it was abudantly clear that Mandi Hamlin, a Texas woman attempting to ride an airplane, did not have any weapons.

Infamous Choices, How To Get a Book Deal!!
"She is no doubt going to do a book. There will probably be a movie," he said. "I think she is going to have so many offers coming in that it will probably be wishful thinking just to get in the door."
~~Larry Flynt from Hustler about Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the call girl/musician who was involved in the scandal who got the govenor of New York ousted this week.
Rewards for Honesty
So, what is the world coming to when people are rewarded for doing what they should do anyway? Or maybe I'm alone in thinking that. I was scanning the CNN Web site when I came across a teensy little blurb. Headline: Thrift store worker finds, returns $30,000. I don't exactly know what compelled me to click on it, but I did.
Dwarves and violence
So, I went to check my yahoo account and I always end up glancing at the news on the front page. I love it because it's never the same old news thats on CNN or the NYTimes. See, they seem to recycle the news in all the other sources, so you read it like 3 times in one day. But, nope, Yahoo gives you something different.
Religion-apathy
I was looking at the New York Times Web site, which is something I frequently do. I try to keep up with the news, since I am a journalist. (Interesting statistic by the way, more editors turn to the New York Times for their news than any other news source.)
Anyway, the point is, on the front page was the headline 'Americans Change Faiths at Rising Rates, Reports Say'.
November upon us, change imminent. Or is it?
I am a journalist, plain and simple. Well, I suppose it's not all that plain and simple. First and foremost, I am a writer. The journalism label sort of came out of random circumstances and stuck around despite my tendency to lean more toward the creative side of wordweaving. You'll probably catch bits and pieces of my story along the way, but that's not the point of this blog or this entry.
