I can't even begin to tell you how disgusted, angry, and heartbroken I am right now.

I have to face the reality of John's death every day. His picture is on my wall. Memories of him are on my street and in my workplace.
The widely popular actress Katharine Hepburn once said, “Without discipline, there is no life at all.” It’s like a child sitting before a coloring book. If the child opens the book to see no lines, he will not have a standard to achieve. How can the child color within the lines when the lines do not exist?
My favorite actor Tom Hanks is often quoted for his role in Forrest Gump with this line: “Momma always said, ‘Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.’” This brilliant philosophy is repeated by millions without any elaboration or question. Life can be successfully compared to just about anything.
Okay it took me a long time to post this blog entry on progressiveu, but it started on November 28, 2007. So pretend like you're reading it then, as it starts with "This evening" and considering the blog title that says "tonight." I really did edit out a lot of ranting so it's not as long as it even should be. It's a long one, but so important... soooo happy reading.
To you, the young adults of America....
First I want to tell you, my readers, that each of you has value. Each of you is loved. And if you ever EVER doubts either of those statements, please do not hesitate to come to me. Because even if I don't know you personally, I cherish your life.
Drama. We all acknowledge it's existence. We all dance around it. We all talk about it. We all hate it. We all love it. We all feed it. We all make it.
But why?
She balances on a feather with a pool of hurt below
A platform made of solid rock is a step away
But she doesn't want to know

Because she is ashamed of her pain
