To many americans, fast food is the #1 reason 1/2 of america is fat. However it really is unhealthy but you choose when you should eat it and how many times a week you eat it. If you do not want to be obese than you should know that McDonald's and Burger King are unhealthy foods to consume more than once a week or even once a month.
I watched a movie in my foods class today about fast food restaurants and how unhealthy they are for your average american. The movie was called "Supersize me". Its about an extremely healthy man that decides to go on a McDonalds diet, he consumes McDonalds everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This man became very unhealthy by only a week into the diet, he had gained 15 pounds in only 5 days. Thats unbelieveable! As he went on through his diet he would interview many americans and they all agree that it is really bad for you but should not be sued or hurt in anyway because it is a choice of yourself, they are not forcing you to buy this unhealthy food.
