  As the oil price carry on increasing, people are cutting back on their buget and spending pattern in able to save more money for the oil.   Last weekend, Tom Cruise's new film, Mission Impossible III has earned the first rank of movies with a profit of 24500000 dollars in the United States. Internationally, this movie has gained 2.14 billion dollars for the Movie company. However people in China will not be able to see this film in the cinamas in China. China is exhibiting this film due to the developing scenes of Shanghai, the government of China considered the film to show the inferior parts of Shanghai instead of promoting the developed part of Shanghai. Even though, there are old building in Shanghai being showed but most of the shots are taking of the skyscrapers in Shanghai. The statement of China's government is not being precise enough and the newaspaper points out another point of China's prohibition of this film. The reason of the banning is because the weapon in the film appeared in Shanghai and there are retired fighters in the countries for protection. Are these two points reflecting the possibilities of weapon treatments between the government and the businesses in China?   The president of Taiwan now in to my point of view the worst president ever in the whole world! He's a charlatan who does not know how to help the economy of Taiwan and reduced the high enemployment rate and more over improve the relationship with the other strong powers such as China and the U.S.A but worsen them. He made the relationship between Taiwan and the U.S.A by standing firm on his desire of Taiwan's indepedence instead of being part of China but the U.S.A made their statement clearly that Taiwan can not and would not be accepted as a nation on its own. I have seen no points in Taiwan's indepedence since China is growing rapidly on it's economics, social, and military why not stay with China and share the benefits in the future. If Taiwan really become indepedent, it will have no future but be destroyed by China within one nuclear bomb. At that time what's the point of Taiwan spending 10 billions on new airforce and battle ships. In my point of view, if Taiwan can remained under China, Taiwan will be much better off in the future with its economics since people in China are become richer and have they going to Taiwan as tourists will boost up the economics of Taiwan. If president Chen can stop his theory of Taiwan's indepedence, the relationship between Taiwan and the U.S.A will be ameliorated as well since the U.S.A does not want to crippled it's relationship with China because of Taiwan. Now China is a key point!        

  I  believe that most of the people here have seen the news on the U.S.A today about President Bush commanding the NSA to collect the communicating phone records of the citizens after 911 in able to " Protect the U.S.A from the terrorists". Is that neccesary, sometimes I just don't see any sense in things Bush is doing, especially the Irag war as to bring democracy and freedom to the coutry according to his saying.     Read More »

  Glaxo Smith Kline and FDA had been sending letter to doctors on the 12th warning that the medicine Paxil might increase the rate of patients committing suicides. The FDA demanded on the Glaxo to do cases analyzing on 15000 patients who are presently taking the Paxil and found out that eleven people had the intensions of committing suicides.  This is my editorial from English Class and when I was doing the research for this editorial, it really made me think more deep and and serious on this social issue: ABORTION.

  Abortion is a dilemma that has recently become a controversial issue and it has been discussed widely throughout the world between individuals, on magazines and newspapers and as a political event. The survey done by Los Angeles Times Poll in January 2005 resulted in 24% favored illegal abortion from 1118 arbitrarily chosen American adults. Followed by the CBS News Poll survey in March 2005 taken by 737 randomly selected American adults absorbed 25% favored no abortion access. The court deemed abortion to be illegal, with various commandments in different states through Webster in 1989,
Akron Center in 1990 and Casey in 1992. However, total of 46,023,191 abortions occurred during 1973 to 2004 in
United States. With every abortion, it shows the unawareness of the pain the babies suffer, the happiness        I agree with these regulations, I do not support abortion; there are several reasons why I have these beliefs and opinions.
