Homophobia

Tagged:

Lots of people like to say that if someone opposes homosexuality you’re homophobic.
Webster’s dictionary defines a phobia as ; abnormal, persistent fear.
Just because I disagree with homosexuality does not make me afraid of homosexuals. I have lesbian and gay friends. My parents accept them into our home and have certain rules which they must respect. My parents aren’t afraid I’ll decide to choose a lesbian lifestyle.
My lesbian and gay friends disagree on that area of their lives. I don’t treat them any different than I would other people who are friends of mine, and we don’t see eye to eye on certain issues.
Should individuals who oppose Christianity be labeled Christophobics?

Progressive it's more like digressive

Some of these blogs are more digressive than progressive.
People stoop to using vuglar language and nitpick about spelling and grammar errors.
Wouldn't it be more progressive for people to express there thoughts ideas beliefs etc in a dignified manner rather than name calling. Sure there are going to be a wide variety of viewpoints. Some issues are sensitive subjects and heated arguments can ensue, but hey why not keep personal attacks out of the equation. Sometimes what people have to say will be taken personally that's human nature and it's also human nature to defend ourself. Say what you have to say don't soft pedal. But is vulgarity necessary?

Gays that are pro choice

Tagged:  •

Here is something to ponder. If people within the gay community iwho are pro choice want to adopt, where will the children they want to adopt come from, if all the unwanted babies are aborted? This supports the argument of no child is an unwanted child. How? Because every child is wanted by someone. There is a couple who adopt children with special needs. To date they have 4 natural children and have adopted 23 special needs children. I would never want to do this, but these children are none-the-less wanted and loved.

Are you pro-choice?

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

Individuals who are pro-choice with whom I know about usually stand for a women’s right to chose. They believe a woman should have control over her body and after becoming pregnant, decides  if she wants to terminate the pregnancy.

How far do pro- choice individuals and the right to privacy supporters want to go?

Gays pervert God's promise

The gay community in general, because every group or class of people can't be lumped into one way of thinking, has perverted the symbol of the rainbow.
People in general use the rainbow to decorate and use it to brighten up a child's room etc. That's okay.
The rainbow is a symbol of a promise from God the creator of the universe, to never destroy the earth again with a flood as he did in the days of Noah.

President Vicente Fox speaks in US today

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •

The president of Mexico visits the US and speaks in favor of the US opening our borders.
I bet that would make him happy. I don't hear of him inviting US citizens into his country illegally or giviing us amnesty. Does he want to pay our medical bills or education and have us work there tax free? I highly doubt it.
Why doesn't he just take care of his own citizens and then they won't have too mooch off the US government?

Sex changes

If a man  has a sex change and then hooks up with  woman, are they lesbians or heterosexual because God intended them to be male? Or if they hook up with a man are they heretosexual or homosexual ? I wonder the same if a woman gets a sex change also. God says he looks at the heart. I think God would always see a man as a man and a woman as a woman. What do you think?

The New SAT

Tagged:  •

The graduating class of 2006 are held to the NEW SAT's. Now we are given three sections. Writing, math and the essay (reading). There are 3 categories we must test on, however the colleges, or most of them, only look at the writing and math scores. Why do they test us in areas where the scores are not accepted by colleges and univesities? Does this make sense too anyone? If so please so kind as to explain. On top of that the college board has nothing to compare the new test with. There was no study group so how does a college or university measure it's accuracy without a test group?
