Why is our country so busy with the Iraq War, when their are so many people in Africa starving and dying of disease? We are so busy massacring the Iraqi people, and covering up our search for oil with the stupid WMD excuse, that we don't even notice that there are bigger fish to fry. We should be spending our time and money on disease research and feeding the poor.

What Our Country SHOULD Be Worried About
Leaving Room for exceptions
I would like to change my opinion on abortion. I believe now that in cases where the woman may die, it is alright to choose abortion. I still believe that life begins immediately, and that in cases like rape, the child should be kept or put up for adoption.
Death Penalty
How can the US government (or the common people for that matter) think its right to kill a man for war crimes (Saddam Husein) when, if one of our leaders was captured and killed we would think it was terrible and murderous. When deciding that Saddam had to be killed, we failed to consider the opinions of he himself or his followers. And another thing to consider: IT WAS THE US GOV.
Too Many People
Genesis and Disturbed had it right when they said the world has "too many men, making too many problems". The thing is, the number of people born outnumber the people who die. Each day the human population gets larger, while the population of all the things in the natural world gets smaller.
Struggles with Faith
Ever since 911, I've found it very difficult to reestablish my friendship with God. I used to be a very devout Christian. But after seeing those towers fall, I think i've lost my faith. I just don't understand how God could send so many people to hell (since obviously not everyone in those buildings were trully saved) without rhyme or reason. Like the towers, i've felt my faith break.
