this thought just popped into my head. i know some elementary busses do but they are not forced to wear them....why is this?

Waitstaff at businesses like Applebee's, Chili's, TGIF, etc. make $2.13/hour.

"Wait a sec", you think to yourself, "Isn't minimum wage six and change?"

Yeah, but because they receive tips, they are "working on commission" and thus the restaurant only has to pay half salary.

My brothers recently went to Europe to play hockey! This year, April 2006, they went to Finland, Iceland and Russia to play five games of hockey! Anyone who loves the game of hockey should know this is an awesome opportunity. Trevor is 15 years old and Justin is 13 years old. They have a cousin who plays for the Vancouver Canucks!.

At this point in time we live in Massachusetts. They for Finland April 13th, spent a couple of days there, played some hockey, saw some sights and then took a 6 hour bus ride to Russia where they would continue with their great adventure!  Read More »

Why should marijuana be legal?

• People have a basic right to make choices for themselves as long as their actions do not harm others.
  Responsible individuals in a free society should be allowed to choose whether or not they use marijuana. Individual liberty is a fundamental value.

   

• The government is wasting our time and money by prohibiting marijuana.
  Taxpayers are forced to pay billions of dollars to persecute, prosecute, and incarcerate people for having marijuana. If marijuana were legal and regulated (like alcohol and tobacco) this money, plus tax revenues from marijuana sales, could be used for other purposes such as education and health care.

It amazes me how much illegal immigrants complain about how they dont get treated fairly and have no rights etc etc

I am sure many of you have heard about the recent Minute Men news. Apparently the
US government has been giving lots of information to the Mexican government regard the Minute Men and their operations along the
US and Mexican border. The
US government has been telling Mexico WHERE THE MINUTE MEN ARE OPERATING with exact details on location and numbers. In fact on a Mexican government website there is a map, for all Mexicans to see, that shows the location of the Minute Men. What has NOT been reported by most of the media (of course) is that the
US government is ALSO telling
Mexico about operations in NORTHERN STATES. Where ever the Minute Men are,
Mexico finds out.
Mexico as also asked that they be immediately contacted whenever an Illegal Immigrant comes into contact with the Minute Men and requests that the Border Patrol ignore sightings radioed in by the Minute Men. The Border Patrol has also been asked not to give credit to the Minute Men when ever they provided help or intelligence that resulted in the arrest of an Illegal Immigrant.

Richard Nixon despite his flaws is proving to have been one of our better President's.  He did use China as a trump card against the then Soviet Union.  The Soviet Union went into Afghanistan, spent a fortune in military adventures, got it's ass kicked, then retreated when it realized that Afghanistan (pre-Taliban) was a hopeless cause.  Unfortunately, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagam did things that encouraged a young man named Osama Bin Laden to be active in Islamic jihad movements.  But such is hindsight!!!!!   Read More »

Shirley Roper believes 9/11 was a good thing. The death of our soldiers in Iraq is a good thing and that Jews were the REAL Hitler. Her and her christian church go to funerals of dead iraqi soldiers and protest holding sign with lettering such as "god hates fags" etc.....and she thinks there is nothing wrong with this and calls herself a christian.
