I would like to bring this subject to light, because I think it is a subject that will be facing a lot more often in the next couple of years. The subject, in this case, is the separation of homosexuals from the church.

Hello, everyone! For those of you who haven't heard of ANWR, it's the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Located up in Alaska, the Refuge is a very large reservation with a very beautiful and biologically diverse landscape that is home to hundreds upon hundreds of endangered arctic species that the Alaskans are trying to save. ANWR also happens to be the topic of an essay I am doing as of late, and so I thought I would spread the issues out here for people to read and respond to.

Okay, I am going to show you a picture, and you have to tell me what it is:

Diversity, the "state of being diverse", "difference", "multiformity" according to the dictionary. And unbeknown to the dictionary, there is actually another definition for diversity, and that's the United States.

Hey guys, back again. My last post was way too controversial, but then that's what I get for choosing such a personal topic! I always want to apologize for what I write after I write it, but then I figure it's rather pointless. Even if you try to balance on the fence with your opinions, In a country as diverse as America, you're bound to offend someone by what you say no matter what.

Happy belated Valentine's Day everyone! I was too busy on Valentine's day to do a post, which is why it is 'belated'. However, it's 8:30pm at night and I'm feeling the need to let the words flow. So here we go!

Well, this is my first blog entry at progressive-U. My first blog entry ever, really, but I've decided it's finally time to give it a shot. My name is Kathryn, here known as Katwiz. Katwiz is a mix of Kat + wiz(ard) and also twiz is short for twizzlers, my favorite candy! So obviously I put way, way too much thought into the name. Oh well!
