Tip Your Hooker

Tip One:

Work Hard.   Taking shortcuts never works.  If you're trying to impress someone, they will notice.  You won't learn if you cheat.  If you're too lazy to work hard.  Learn how to make others work hard for you.

Tip Two.

Smile.  Life goes on.  You may not think so but it does.  Like right now, while you're reading this, the clock is still ticking and that dreadful task you're procrastinating is only closer to being late for your deadline.  Plus a smile never hurt anyone.  If anything it only makes them like you more.  Unless they hate smiles.  But who does?  Read More »

That's the only word I can think of to describe how I'm feeling.

I have a full schedule of classes (mostly classes through colleges, my school only has online AP classes.)
One extra class I take on my own time.
I work two part time jobs.
President of FFA chapter who's currently coordinating biggest fundraiser.
Art club I drive an hour two because my high school doesn't have one, so I go to a college's.  Read More »

Sorry I'm going to have to rant and rave. Seriously people this planet that you live on is not a big garbage can.  It's sick and disgusting to watch people throw their nasty wrappers out the windows of their cars while they're driving down the highway.  Or people just putting out their cigarettes on the ground.  Gross; just because you have to be disgusting doesn't mean the rest of us should have to live in it.  Why can't you wait until you get to a garbage can and put it there where it will be disposed of properly and if it's bottles you are throwing have you ever heard of the word recycle?  It's really easy.  You take it to a center and you put it where it belongs.  Wow, that's so hard, if you walk you could give yourself some exercise too, to burn off all those calories that you get from eating so much fast food.  Oh and be sure to tell your grandkids you're welcome for ruining the planet they have to try and fix after you ruined it.  Read More »

If you're having a break down

Tagged:

Everyday I wake up.
I find myself a mess.
I grab my cup of iced coffee.
And the paper.
And read about the world.
The world out there is sad.
Tragic.
Daunting.
I decide to make my own world.
Where the water is clean.
Fresh.
Pure.
I jump in.
I can finally breathe.

Just felt like writing something to get things off my mind.  It's up for interpretation.  60 second writing exercises I do for my writing class.  I guess it's suppose to help write you feel so I do mine before I go to sleep.  Good night.  Sleep well everyone!  Read More »

Reinventing Myself

Tagged:  •

From being in and out of mental hospitals and therapy, (I am bi-polar) I've learned that I change frequently.  My parents said I was their "surprise" baby because I wasn't planned and surprise I was on my way into the world.  I still keep them full of surprises too.  So staying true to my lifestyle that I was born into I've enjoyed changing sleep patterns, jobs, hair color, clothing style, furniture arrangements, paint on the walls; you could name anything and I've tried to change it.  Most people are afraid of change but I'm one to embrace and encourage it.  Read More »

The crime and punishment of being average.

Helter Skelter.  Have you ever read this book?  Watched the movie?  Heard about Chuck Manson?  I like to call him Chuck because he doesn't seem like a Chuck.  Anyways after reading this book and then watching the movie (I know you're thinking nerd if you've ever seen the size of the book) but I live in such a small town and nothing ever happens.  Literally everyone in town finds out if you get a seat belt ticket.  The more I think about it the more I realize that I haven't been exposed to very many things and that I live a sheltered life.  Not because my parents keep my in my house all day but because I live in such a rural community that things just don't happen.   Read More »

The Devil and Daniel Johnston or Jessie and the voices in her head

Daniel Johnston, manic-depressive genius singer/songwriter/artist is revealed in this portrait of madness, creativity and love

"I saw this at the SXSW movie festival. This movie portrays the legendary song-writer (fans of his consist of: Sonic Youth, Curt Cobain, Beck, etc.), Daniel Johnston's roller-coaster life: through his early recordings in his basement to being on MTV to his battles with manic depression(which caused him to have delusions) to his art and comics and ending up in mental hospitals. Throughout the movie the film looks at Daniel's life through friends and family. Honestly, even if you aren't a fan you'd enjoy it. Even the way it was filmed and put together is so unique it was amazing to watch. A must see for any Daniel Johnston fan."  Read More »
