Boy, oh boy, is it a bad time to be a Republican running for office. Look at John McCain right now. Some polls have him ten points behind Barack Obama. But McCain’s not behind because of his age, his vice presidential pick of Sarah Palin or those laughable negative attack ads. John McCain is losing because he is a Republican.

The second presidential debate this past Tuesday was extremely interesting despite the boring rules in this town hall format that did not allow the candidates to engage with each other more. Senators McCain and Obama had some great one-liners throughout the night and their strategies were throughout the night were obvious and completely different.
