Last week in my film class we watched an older movie called Birdman of Alcatraz. Like so many movies I've seen it started with based on a true story. If a movie is based on a true story does that automatically make it good?

Blogging: The Unrated Edition
Soon one of the summer's biggest movie smashes, Live Free or Die Hard, will be coming out on DVD. But there are two different editions that are being put out. The version shown in the theaters, and the unrated edition.

Saving the best for last.
Last night I went to the Billy Joel concert playing near my area. The tickets had been a Christmas present for mom but I was secretly pleased that I was going to get as much enjoyment out of them as she was.

The End of school spirit
Today my high school had a pep rally for our girl’s basketball team. (They’re playing in the state championship in a few days, very exciting but not the point of the blog.) Anyway, all of our pep rallies end with a cheer from each class, (freshman through senior) but by cheer I mean more of a scream.

Jesus is no longer perfect
This past weekend my church group went to see a large-scale production of Jesus Christ Superstar. In light of the recent "findings of Jesus' tomb" it was very interesting to see this show about the life of Jesus.
