Social norms?

I thought about social norms lately. I really wanted to watch this movie, but none of my friends and family wanted to watch it, because they've never heard of it or it looks boring or it's not a blockbuster film. So I got impatient and I told my friend that I'm going alone but then she offered to go with me because she thought it was weird to go alone. I asked her why and she said that she felt bad for people who go to the movies alone. This was interesing because i didn't think it was weird to go to the movies alone. And I've met people who go alone and they're pretty sociable and not lonely. They also think really critically about quality films. But I asked everyone about the whole going to movies alone thing and they thought it was weird to.

I was wondering about better sources of energy and I'm very excited! I googled it and found this website called www.wanttoknow.info and I found out about how these kids made a car run on soybean oil!  I also found out that Iceland is making water into hydrogen fuel and it only gives off water vapor so there's no pollution. How amazing is that?

Hello everyone

This is my first entry. I don't know what to write. I guess I'll just write out my thoughts. I noticed that people like to spend time on issues that really don't matter and just furthers deters us from the real social issues that are at hand. I noticed this several times on tv. Like they would keep on talking about whether rock and hip hop music promotes the immorality of our youth and they woud talk and talk but it never goes anywhere. It's kind of annoying. And they would literally blame the artists and the artist shouldn't have to feel like they have to defend their art and work. Music really brings issues and give awareness on social issues such as depression, poverty, and the messed up system we live in today.
