After reading "Rumi, Underoos and the Heroic Journey" It made me stop and think. A friend of mine once said "I want to be sure that the people in my life know that they are important to me." Ever since that night I have started to try and live by that saying.

I joined progressiveu today and immediately started thinking about blogs I could possibly write, when thoughts of my personal essay to get into college crossed my mind. I remember sitting down to write the essay and coming up with nothing that I thought could possibly be so important about me that colleges would accept me. After hours of staring at the computer screen I decided to ask for help.
