I knew it would soon end, I felt you slowly beginning to slip away, I gave you my all, my heart and soul all I ever asked was that you not hurt me or cause me pain, but even that was too much to ask. You promised me forever, I knew our friendship wouldn’t last but I chose oblivion over reality, I tried my best to keep you by my side. I blamed myself for letting you slip, feeling like I wasn’t good enough, as if it were my fault you wanted out. I loved you with everything I had. I chose to be your friend through it all. I didn’t want to let you go, I didn’t want to feel like a failure, as if I wasn’t the great friend I so often claimed to be. Through the lies, the pain, and the broken promises, I stood by you, believing you would change.

Never Again

My Ambition, My Drive, My Passion could it all be just a dream?
Everyone else seems to be posting the reason why they need scholarships, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and do the same =]
I’m about to turn 17 and this is the year that I graduate. I come from a single-parent household, my mother does everything she can to make sure we have everything we need or want. My mother has never denied us anything that someone else had, she always felt as that if someone else can have it my children have the same right too it so she’s always done everything she can for us, for that I appreciate my mother.

Who Am I?
Who am I? A question not many people take the time to answer. Identity is key to being a part of the world. You can't do much if you don't know who you are. IF you don't know who you are. how will you ever know what you may be able to accomplish? Answering the question, "Who am I" will help you better understand why you are the way you are, it will help you see yourself and change your flaws. By changing the things that make us imperfect, we can better help others. Granted, nobody can be perfect, but define perfection. Working on our flaws, creating a new sense of self by determining who we are, we can better help change the world.

Change the World
I believe it is time for a change. It is time we stepped up as humans and made progress not in technology but in way of life. People these days are so self-involved that they don’t care about the environment, the socioeconomical barriers. No longer should there be social standards and norms, no longer should people with different lifestyles be discriminated against. It is time we moved towards a change, started trying to bring about a world of peace and understanding.

Life of An Empath
First off let me start off with a few vocabulary words [not many people seem to know these words]. An Empath is a person who can feel another person’s emotions, they have the ability of actually being in the other person’s shoes, at times the other person may not have fully expressed these emotions but the person can still feel them, it is sort of like a connection with people, that allows you to feel what they are feeling. Clairsentience means “clear sensing” to possess clairsentience means the person can sense what is going to happen or what may have already happened in a given environment.

War is not the Answer
First off I would like to say that I fully support our troops, I appreciate that they are fighting for our rights and to protect us [so don’t tell me I am being unappreciative and whatnot. Secondly just because I support the troops does not mean I support war, and just because I don’t support war does not mean I am being unappreciative of the trust.

Gay Rights
Gay marriage is quite the controversial topic, there are many different opinions by many different people. I would like to offer mine. I am straight but I support gay rights not only because I have friends who are homosexual or bisexual, but because we need to tear down the cultural, social, and economical roles. We need to stop building barriers between us and live as we should together in peace. Also because the government should not be allowed to restrict our personal lives. Love isn’t practical, its emotional you can’t control it. Who you love, who you fall for, it is all sort of spontaneous you don’t know who you will fall in love with and you don’t know when it will happen.

Prayer in School
Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not allowed in most
public schools anymore Because the word "God" is mentioned....A kid in Arizona wrote the attached NEW School prayer. I liked it
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
