Is it just me or is the era of evolution fading a bit?  Don't get me wrong the theory of evolution is still there, but I can see our postmodern society beginning to lean towards a spiritual side of things.  Years ago scientists thought that by this time (2006) science would have disproved christianity and God, but it hasn't.  In fact it has only made the case for christianity even stronger.

There are two big ideas when it comes to discussing our origins and the origin of the earth. 

Either it came from nothing or it came from someone.  Either this planet and all of it's life forms have evolved into what we have today, or all of it was designed. 

Evolution is what is taught in schools.  A lot of times it is taught and implied to be a fact when it is not.  We cannot prove evolution and we cannot prove creation. 

I just had a few questions about this blogging scholarship competition. Is there anyway to see how you are doing against others in the competition? Also, is there any way to see who is currently in the lead?  I don't think there is, but if I am wrong I would love to know.  I also was wondering if everything I am doing is counting.  If I leave a short comment does it still count?

Drink eight glasses of water a day!  Where did that come from?  I'm not sure myself, but I don't think it was a doctor.  Doctor's don't tell us not to drink eight glasses of water a day because it's not hurting us.  I have tried to drink that much water throughout my day and ended up running to the bathroom every thirty minutes.  I did a little research

I have a goal.  I want to completely pay for my college tuition with scholarships.  There seem to be enough of them online.  Does anyone ever win these scholarships, on maybe FastWeb.com for instance?  I would be interested in knowing.  I really want to go back to school and get my degree, but I have no extra money for it.  Also if anyone knows where any other blogging for shcolarship competitions may be going on, please let me know.  I want to get my Mechanical Engineering degree.  It takes money to go to college so that we can make more money, but it takes more money to go to college...did that make any sense?

Assume that you have recently finished your first year as mayor of your city. At the end of the year there is $1 Million dollars left in the budget. You must spend this money within your community. What would you spend it on and why?
