Marketing is not the only issue, the actual context of television is not liberating in the least. Women may now be playing lawyers, but it’s compromised for the short skirt and parted lips accompanied with made over faces, which feign sex appeal to the audience.

Gender stereotypes and traditional roles are a controversial issue in the question between learned behavior and chemically fueled actions. Before a baby is even born, there is worry over whether to buy the doll or the bat or whether to paint the room pink or blue. Little girls play house and little boys play sports, little girls aspire to be mommies while little boys want to be firemen.

Feminism in the last 10 years has been at a painfully slow crawl.

From an entirely patriotic standpoint, Wal-Mart is the quintessential example of what a democratic country’s businesses can potentially offer for its people. It offers not only low prices, but also a wide-ranging selection of products to buy from, and almost all the normal things a person needs in one (usually) central location.

With the present war and rapidly fluctuating gas prices, it’s important for the United States Government to assess and recognize the need for alternate energy sources that will not cause any more damage to the environment and will also create independence for the United States from their addiction to oil and therefore unhealthy political relations with oil-supplying countries.

A mar on the face of our country, and an absolute abomination to our judicial sytem. I'm sure you guys are already aware of this, and I hope you will be participating in this locally, and through one of the many petition sites.

     A trend that bothers me: geographic ignorance. It may just be my inner geography nerd talking, or the fact that my family's map and globe (next to Legos) were my favorite toys from a very young age up to my present 18 year old mentality.
