I don’t know how to act when a stranger offers help. True story, yesterday I was stranded when I left work at 10:00 PM and the last bus left me. It was a busy street and I had decided to walk the 40 minute journey back to my house when a stranger pulled over and offered me a ride. I had not much time to analyze the situation but I did anyway. I figured I could physically overpower the driver but even then I wasn’t sure if I should get in the car. What was the motive behind this simple good deed? It can’t just be to help can it? I’ve never come across anyone who would go out of their way to help someone they don’t know. It’s just not human nature in these days. So I did what anyone else would’ve done in my situation. I took the license number on my phone and sent it to my sister through text before I got in the car. The stranger gave me a ride to the nearest metro station where I could easily get home. Nothing happened. I was still uneasy about the whole thing. Was it just a random good deed? Is that possible?

memory is like a golddigger... it leaves you in time.
Do memories fade away? Or do they stay locked in our minds? I don’t remember the names of my childhood friends in fact my memory is blank prior to age 5. what happened? Where could it go? I thought the safest place was my mind but it turns out things get lost there too. It just goes to nothingness like everything else, replaced by new and fresh memories. It’s like I didn’t even exist because I have no recollection of that era at all.

Who would you choose? Someone who is amazingly attractive with no regards to your feelings and clashing personality or someone who is amazingly attractive to you on the basis of their character. That isn’t to say the latter is physically repellent just overshadowed by the attractive one.

Recycle your finger nails.
On the average a human’s finger and toe nails grow about 5 cm each year which means 1 whole meter of finger nails is produced by one person. Imagine multiplying that with the world’s population. There would be over 6 billion meters of nails. Enough to go 150 times around the world. So what can we do with nail clippings? It is a strong and fibrous material it can be processed and be used in a practical way. It can be turned in to burning fuel, it can be used as soles for shoes, it can even be used to make low-cost materials. Think how great it would be to have an abundant, nearly infinite number of raw materials.
My nine year old cousin has a Myspace!
I don’t know how he even knew about the site. I really don’t think it is safe and it’s not the fault of myspace. Parents make the difference in a child’s behavior and actions. I told my cousin’s parents to give him no access to the internet because the internet is not safe for children. I think that there are tremendous losses of moral values as children become more and more involved with today’s media. Even the G rated cartoons have subliminal messages.
