So the writers strike has become a big deal. It's entering the second week and shows like "The Colbert Report" and all the late night talk shows are affected, being in repeats and the hosts aren't crossing the picket lines. First off, Kenny Chesney winning the Entertainer of the Year was a must. Rascal Flatts said the day before that they knew he would win, and he did. That made the night worth while. I am a huge Kenny Chesney fan and although Brad Paisley puts on a great show (I've been to both of their concerts), I think Kenny is very deserving still, having sold out 6 football stadiums.  Read More »

I fully realized today that I'm no longer in high school.

It was 6:50 PM as I headed into my former high school's first home soccer game...and I had to pay to get in. Now I'm sure I could've talked to the Vice-Principal and got in free since I was the ASB Treasurer for two years and made many friends within the system, but I still paid.
