I was told I was shy as a child. Is it really shyness, or a lack of words. I was the loudest person when with my firneds, but when around people I didn't know I was quite. I didn't think I was shy, but that's how everyone else saw me. I simply did not know the person. I suppose maybe that is all shyness is. And I now know that you can talk to people you do not know, and have plenty to talk about. I find that people are nicer than they seem and even if your nervous to talk to them, you should go for it anyway. (Nervousness usualy comes when it is a guy that want to talk to a cute girl or vice versa). I have some advice to guys out there, if you think a girl is too cute to talk to and you are intimidated to talk to her, so is everyone else. Usually anyone with the guts to talk to her, and not seem like they are going to piss their pants they are so nervous will at least become friends with these gilrs. These girls (especailly if they are shy) will not have many friends becasue everyone is "nervous" to talk to them. So be the MAN, just do it. She's nicer than you think. And this goes for everything. When you can talk to people you do not know, you benifit in so many ways. So just let loose and have fun, don't put too much stress on yourself. Talking to people you do not know will help you to be better at conversing and interviewing and LIVING. Learn to talk now, beause it is the main way human communicate. Body language is a good one to learn also.

What's racism?
Will someone describe racism. I think that a lot of the racism comes from it being SUCH A BIG DEAL, taht everyone is scared to offend someone of a different race. Mainly white peole can not even joke about racism because they have it so easy or whatever. (harder for us to get into college). But either way, it seems blacks can be prejiduce to whites, I know I could care less if so

Why can't we be friends?
Does anyone know what it is like to have a friend, date that friend, Somehow the relationship ends, and so does the friendship. Can you really have a friendship with someone you were 'intimate' with, or just dating whatever. I was 'dating' this girl, basically we just made out and then I kinda wanted more. I was thinking we should get to know eachother. Well, she got annoyed by me or something..I was too needy or maybe we just didn't knw eachother enough, regaurdless she wanted to be friends so we could get to know eachother first. Like I said, I wanted this to, but I didn't tell her until now she brought it up. So, friends, it didn't work to well. I was not even attached, but for some reason it just doesn't flow. It has just recently been cool, we hung out with other people around on saturday, and got along fine. No feelings or anything from either of us, so that helps. But for us we were barely frineds and barely had a relationship. With girls that you have long relationships with, usually ending worse because of attachment and heartache. Can you really be their friend? Is it a good idea to try right away? or wait? Maybe never again. It seems that for the most part it just never works...and it's not usually worth it cause the person that doesn't want to break up usualy remains attached until they are no long friends with the person. what do you all think?

FREE MONEY! (you know you want to click)
Basically, everyone knows there is no free money. The money I'm telling you about is not free either. But it is very close. It takes money to make money as we all know. But it is so important that we invest. For children, around my age (i'm 18) you could get a Roth IRA. If you put 3000 dollars in a Roth IRA as a 17 year old in 54 years you would be a millionaire. You can take money out without penalty at 59.5 years of age, and at that point would have around 400000 dollars. But that is if you put 3000 in and do nothing else, you can keep putting money in. Once you make so much money you can no longer put money in. But if your in college or early career stage, odds are you won't make that much. So, 60 is not really that old. And you'd have millions which comes for 3,000. That is a lot of "free money." Compound interest is so powerful, and everyone needs to invest now. You could pay for your kids college, go on good trips when you are older. Get a sweet car. NOT WORRY about social security since it probably won't be around when we get older. Anyone else have suggestions on investing?

Cartoons
All of the sudden Cartoons are becoming very popular. There is The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Invader Zim, Sponge Bob, American Dad, and South Park. There are certainly many more. These shows are targeting kids, but also adults. Some of the more mature ones only adults. I wonder why cartoons are so powerful for comedy. They do not even have to be good quality. South Park for example. Yet, everyone seems to love the show. At least a lot of immature people or mature people with a sense of humore I suppose. Personally I can watch sometimes, sometimes it gets annoying. I love Simpons and Family Guy though. Can not stand Sponge Bob. I think that show is particullarily for younger kids. Yet many teens and early twenty year olds love it. Why is this? anyone here have an opinion on this?

Depression..
I have never had depression. I can not understand how it can work. Some people can have nothing bad in their life and yet be miserable because of this disease. Anyone care to share what it is. I know it is a chemical inbalance. But I know someone that can not go to work because of it. They are up and down everyday. Looking for the right medicine and right amount. Can anyone explain how it feels to be dipressed, I can not quite grasp it. I thank God for that. But I'd still like to be able to understand better. Thanks.
