Ever since my first round of hardcore assigned deviance in my sociology class, I have become something of a deviant addict. Here is where I will hence name one particularly intriguing, amusing or effective act of deviance weekly, approximately the same time every week. Without further ado, here is the first installment of deviance.
Magna Cum Snowflakes:

Throughout history, kings and commoners alike have relied on the mythic ideal of a “hero” to survive in a seemingly bleak and hopeless world. Be it Beowulf or Robin Hood, Blakeney or Batman, every generation is dependent upon its imaginary savior as a means of remaining sane. What, then, classifies these men in tights as heroic?

I really don't want to go to school this morning. With that, I've decided to go all High Fidelity with the first of many Top 5 lists. This week's is why Monday mornings are so angering to so many. Enjoy ( or grunt perturbedly in agreement, whichever)

My Urban Studies class was recently given the assignment of coming up with solutions to several problems the New York City Public Schools system currently faces. Obviously, there is no huge vat of money lying around anywhere, so we also had to factor in how we planned to pay for it. I figured posting it might get me some additionally idea(r)s.
