Good Night God.

So last night as I finished talking to God, I said 'love you, good night.' And then I was like, wait, is it okay to say that? This made me think...Of course it's okay to say it! But how many kids don't know that? How many teens today think there is a right and a wrong way to pray?

Boston Legal brought up a pretty good point the other day. Kids today aren't smarter than they were thirty years ago, even though statistically...they should be. I really like how they explained. They said kids just learn the test. They know it for the test and as soon as they get their A, they forget it. They aren't learning because they don't have time.

So I'm taking an Early American Lit class this term and it's been irking me quite a bit since it began. But the other day it opened my eyes up to a really great prospective about God. I'm actually excited to go to class on Monday.

Brothers...Sometimes I wonder why God made them....Sometimes I wonder what I would do without them. As my junior year comes to an end, I realize how much our lives our going to change and already have. My oldest brother Tyler left about a year ago for Kansas and now he has a daughter on they way. Kyle's getting married in a few months and they're looking at houses.

To save a friend....

It's always been put out so black and white for us as kids. If someone tells you they are thinking of hurting themselves, tell a trusted adult and get them help. It's the right thing to do...It's what you have to do...you're obligated to do it. I always thought it would be easy too.

Have you ever seen that Budweiser commercial with the soldiers getting off their flight to a standing ovation from the people in the airport?

Lock-Down? Whatever.

Last Thrusday, my school had a lock-down. I was sitting in French 4 with my friends when the assistant principal came on the PA system and announced an emergency lock-down. Everyone rolled there eyes and Madame started across the hall because she once again forgot her keys and needed Senora to lock her door for her.
