As I am preparing to take on the transition from high school to 'real life' (the transition that i thought would never come), I'm being pushed into so many different directions. Well more like two directions. There's the 'only 3 months left!
After posting the previos post i continued to think about the question why don't we try something new. And I applied the situation to my life to see if I could come up with a logical answer. And with this whole transition into college thing I am scared shitless about leaving home and going to college - change.
The price of crude oil crept over $100 on tuesday. This doesn't really mean anything to the every day person. All that hreally matters to them, or rather us, is the fact that gas prices are going to creep over the $3.00 mark. We were discussing this in my english class (how we got on this topic I'm not quite so sure) and I realized how ridiculously dependent we are on oil. Think about it.
Essentially my existence on this site is due to this Blogging for Progress Scholarship, considering that I am an aspiring undergraduate student searching for money. However, as is my nature, I seek to make this more than it is. I will, for the most part, limit my posts to public policy, current events, and issues that young people face as those are the requirements for the scholarship.
