In his article, “White Like Me”, Rick Reilly makes a good point, bringing to attention something that a lot of people today are perhaps afraid to acknowledge – minorities today can get away with a lot more than anyone else when it comes to things such as taunts, jokes, etc. But why? The only reason that seems to make any sense would be that minorities, especially the Black people of America, have gone through a lot, and people think that telling them to watch the way they speak would just be another infringement upon their newfound freedom.  Read More »
