So the my first blogging contest has ended. I've learned so much about my writing and critism with commenting others and reading countless blogs. Are these items hampering the potential and success of today's teensagers/ children? Massive amounts of hours are spent a day listening to the newest tune along with playing graphic video games in millions of US homes. Is this helping the obesity rate rise amongist teens? YES. . .indirectly. I feel this type of technology is a stage in this generation but the negative effects from these activities out-weigh any positive except to the company. USA is quickly becoming the stupidest country (read in a magazine and saw on the SUPER SIZE me movie) and the fattest. This technology lessens time outside for physical activity, less time hitting the study books, and helping the obesity rate rise.  Read More »

With more students gettin' violent at schools across the nation many people are resorting to tasers and other extreme punishments! Are tasers really neccesary? Well tasers are so dangerous because some can get tasered being a innocent by-stander! So many adults are like stya away from the situation but on some occasions thats not possible if it breaks out in front of you and 300 kids are heading that way. But seriously who doesn't want to see a fight. I feel tasers are neccesary when the situation gets outta control but pepper-spray should be used before this. Because if there is a brawl and teachers begin to get hurt then thats a situation to think about using tasers. . .On the flip side some students bodies are not able to handle this shock and can cause serious injury/death. I think to prevent this there should be steps in place to get situations inder control and if a taser is needed being careful to shock the "fighter". Because if someone dies being an innocent by-stander it will cause so much controversy! The people that are fightin' will definately learn there lesson once they have been tasers. . .Thats for sure! Should they be allowed? I have a mixed bag of opinions. . .WHat about you?

Recently two students from my high school go to Carolina and Duke for sports but are just plain stupid. . .

 These "mega-schools are some of the smartest schools in the country (level before Harvard, Princeton etc. . .) but some dumb people go there becasuse of sports! Its such a shame if you are a good player in your sport but just plain stupid you can go to any college practically when students that show potential and could take the challenge to succeed get turned down! Well after to years of horrible grades DUKE "let him go and now hes attending a division 1 A school. NC A&T. Not saying anything is wrong with this college but if you went to DUKE supposedly because you were smart and played great football why are you attending a significantly lower school! This is one of many cases that happen every year and it just makes me so angry because of the people who get turned down who have made great strides to get into their "dream college" but have to re-think and decide on something else.

A celebrity makes a smart move. . .Lindsay Lohan has a abusive alcohol problem and has loss numerous pounds lookin' like a skeletan at her worse point.

Is our wourld ready for a black president? I think that this reality is coming sooner than most think! When anyone brings up the topic of black president most are skeptical to say there true feelings; but I think we are in fact ready for a black president. Why not? Whats the real difference between a black and white man beside the amount of pigment in each. Does society make someone black or make someone white? I think its a tremendous factor! WOW. . .Earning over 17 million dollars a year per movie the highest paid actress is Nicole Kidman. What does this mean for an average Joe (woman) who wants to make this kind of money? Training, consistenty, appeal, and LUCK are just a few in my opinion. . .Last year Julia Roberts was second on this list. This year she didn't even make the list. What about Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnoll and other who have stared in many movies. Its great to see everyone is gettin' some of the wealth.
