Autocide: Death by automobile

Shocking relation to this definition?

In the past decade, over 68,000 teens have died in car crashes.

They say the youth are the future of the world, but with growing technology, will there be anyone left?

It seems like there are more and more wrecks everyday.  I mean, more than likely, you'll see at least one wreck every 5 miles that you drive on a busy road.  So are drivers getting worse? Or, like the elders say, do kids really just not know how to drive?

Snaggletooth on the Loose

Everyone be aware!

Ok, not really.
But the so-called "Snaggletooth Killer" is once again on the loose.

The irony? Turns out he's not a killer anymore.  Now? He's a celebrity!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the man who was convicted twice for a murder is now free.

And all this is due to the United States justice system.  Supposedly these days, convicting criminals is not enough; we are now convicting people of crimes they didn't commit.

War with Ira-Who?

Wow.

Americans today just can't seem to get out of everyone else's business.

And it's all under the pretense of "helping" others and "making the world a better place."

The sad thing, we allow our government to get in all this foreign business under the excuse of "we are trying to protect our freedom and bring liberty to others around the world."

Same Sex Marriage: Pro or Con?

Tagged:  •

Same-Sex Marriage.

A topic debated heatedly throughout the country.  Is it legal? Is it ethical? Should it be allowed?

Everyone has their own take.  Most are based on how you were raised, whether you were taught that homosexuality is right or wrong.

But I dare you to consider both sides.

Should same sex marriage be legalized?

The Pros:

1-Denying the right to marry to homosexuals is a violation of religious freedom.  Remember, there is supposed to be a separation of Church and State in the US and civil and religious marriages are two separate institutions.

Racism is still prevalent in the South.

The clencher: African Americans are becoming more equal.

So then, who's being treeated unfairly?

Our more Southern neighbors.

People today are in outrage over the influx of Hispanic immigrants.  You know, supposedly people who work harder than most Americans to earn a living are enemies to us.  You know, we can't have people making us Americans look bad.

Do Me A Favor. Anything.

You always hear "Those who give shall receive," right?

Newsflash! Not in today's society.

The action verb of the day is: manipulate.

------

In current society, people are starting to forget the basic gestures of kindness which should be exchanged in human relationships.  The focus of today's world is to succeed, but unfortunatley success is coming at the expense of everyone else.

What they don't tell You about paying for college

Tagged:  •

They tell you that to get into college, you've got to work hard & make good grades.

They tell you that to get scholarship from college, you've got to work hard & make good grades.

They tell you that, if you work hard & make good grades, it will be easy for you to get outside scholarships.

So, after working hard, making good grades, and staying at the top of my class throughout high school, I should expect an easy ride right?
