Kerry supporting the troops & veteran candidates, but letting the voters in Connecticut decide if they support Leiberman!

As many know, Senator Leiberman's support of the Iraq War as well as his kissy-face with President George W. Bush has resulted in the possible estrangement of Senator Leiberman from the Democrat primary.

Democrats are being asked where they stand.

John Kerry has made it quite clear!  He supports the troops and wants a strategic withdrawal and accountability from the White House.  He's made no bones about the fact that he is actively supporting Veteran Candidates.  Read More »

Hot Damn! Those Liberals DO support our troops!

Republican rhetoric,  "Support our troops" is empty words.  Words without actions.

Liberals say "Support our troops and bring them home alive!" and it's words AND actions together!

Below, I've researched the craven way the Republicans have supported our troops.  Compare and contrast the liberal v neoconservative support and ask yourself, "Which side supports MY CHILD if my child were sent to war?"   Read More »

Iraq War Hero to return his commendation....the "War on Terror Service Medal" to Bush; true principles!

Bush is used to playing politics with terror.  But a group of servicemen are not willing to be his ploy.  I discovered this inspiring article about some marines who intend to return Bush's trumped up medal to either Bush or their Congressman. via the Newsnet5.com site:

Bee received six medals of commendation, but one of them he will give back to President George W. Bush, calling the medal political, NewsChannel5 reported.  Read More »

Kenneth Lay dead from heart attack. Some ask, "What heart?"

This is not a eulogy for Kenneth Lay.  If you feel that the dead must not be spoken ill of, then find another article.

Yahoo News has reported that Kenneth Lay died of a massive heart attack.  Many people are suprised to discover that Ken Lay had a heart!  I am one of them.

Don't cry for Ken Lay, America!  Instead of shedding one tear for a man who stole the pensions of thousands of employees and wallowed in stolen money, cry for the thousands of hard working Americans who lost their pension funds and who likely are starving now (or will be if they get to the point of retiring!).  Ken Lay was also a staunch supporter of President Bush and the Republicans.  Rotton.com, despite it's unusual name, has the facts about the Bush/Lay connection and how the criminal Lay helped Bush with his rise to power.  He was a member of Cheney's secret energy commission and for years he bilked the hard working Californians out of their hard earned money.  His own money wasn't enough for him.  He needed everyone elses too.   Read More »

A Iraq War Veteran Geoff Millard sat down in the middle of Constitution Ave between the W.H. and the Washington Monument. He is right on the street protesting in dissent and is causing a bit of a ruckus. He may be arrested. It's a developing story and it may go nowhere.

Geoff is fasting for peace with Cindy Sheehan.

Independence Day

July 4, 1776

We claimed our independence from Britain, but more than that, a tremendous, innovative idea was born...Democracy, land of the free.  The American Dream began...

"We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.  Read More »
