yuck! ohh geez i for one try to avoid fast food. But what about the peopl who can't avoid fast food for whatever reason, and then get fat, and then sue mcdonalds. thats pretty weird to me i mean they didn't force you to buy it. you made a choice to go and buy it you know how our country has like freedom to choose? well just becuase you make a bad choice doesn't mean you can sue whoever delt it out to you. I like the movie supersize me (i'm sure we all saw it) but seriously we all already know mcdonalds is truley unhealthy food. And well yeah i guess they don't put up there nutiotional facts or anything but do they really have too? its pretty much common knowldge that its not good for you. and yeah its kinda like a tobaco company how they don't care if their customers are unhealthy as long as they keep buying their products, well yeah so what? i mean they're a business. i don't like them so i just don't buy there food. College choices
We i consider i college first i look at the qaulity of the the program i'm interesed in. I think this is pretty tough for some kids becuase well they donj't realy know what kinda of program they really even need. Then i just try to picture myself there and see if i could enjoy it. A lof of people i know don't even really know what kind of school they want. Seems like the parents just kinda pick some schools to visit and then kids can pick. That seems like a good plan i'm not trying to bash it or anything. i just don'tget the people who go to colege just "to go to to college". Honestly it costs so much money i couldn't imagine just paying all the money and then not even finishing. I think when kids pick schools without much a plan it kind of promotes well coninueing not to have a plan. Read More »
stealing from walmart
a while back i heard peopl talking about how you can't get in troulbe if you steal from walmart as long as you just get caught with less than $25 worth of stuff. is that like true? lol it sounds pretty weird. I was thinking maybe they meant they don't prosecute anyone who's caught like possibly not call the cops or anything. actually i'm really not sure how that works. I'm sure if any of their empyloees are caught stealing they'll face a life in jail though. kinda weird. but yeah if you really don't get in trouble i'm gonna hit that up. sounds like a deal....... pay to play
at my school we have to pay a $70 fee to participate in sports. Our administrators and coaches tell us its still a bit less than most schools have to pay. is this like a new phenomonon or something? lol we just started it last year. I don't really like how the funding works for our schools. we're making cuts and laying of teachers, but last year we got a brand new turf field and new track, turf practice fields, new baseball and soccer fields and a high tech timming system i have only seen at like the olymic trials. its cool that we have these things but now everyone has to pay $70 and maybe some of that money should have went to education? Detriot tigers
wow i'm excited for this game. i've been a tigers fan all my life (its funny becuase i was born in 1988 a year before the last time they wer in the playoffs) and its great to see them actually win! year after year we always say "Hey i think this is the year they'll go .500!" and we'll they're doing quite better than that. Leyland, the teams manager, didn't even expect them to do this well. after ever game it seems someone asks him "do you expect to be doing so well" and i like hows hes so honest about it. he just goes No! core workout
heres a core workout my cross country team does. It really works all areas of your body so if anyones interested in trying it i'd highly recomend it. I'll make a list and put a little desciption in case someone doesn't understand it. Do each exercise for 30 seconds and then rest for 15-30 seconds before doing the next one. If you do it everyday you'll see results pretty quickly 1.) Legs at 6 inches - Lay on your back and hold your feet together off the ground at 6 inches 2.) Legs Spread- Same thing but spread your legs apart 3.) Scissors- Start with them spread as above and then do a horizontal scissor kick) 4.) Lef lifts- same as the first one but raise your legs together up so you r body makes an L and then lower it slowly 5.)Verticle Scissors- start in the first position and kick your legs alternativly up and down 6.)U swings- hold your holds together and Make a big U motion by raise them up and an angle in one direction and then swooping across to the other side 7.)Partner leg lifts- Same as leg lifts but if you have a partner they can throw your legs down and you keep them from hitting the ground 8.)
