This Saturday I had nothing to do at work, so I picked up the May 8th edition of Newsweek to read. For those of you that haven't seen it, there was a big to do in the edition about the Top 100 schools in the United States. It was a nice article, but rather shocking.

I know Arkansas schools are bad, but I would have thought that at least one would have been on the list. Lo and behold, not a single Arkansas school made the list! For the past 2 or so years the state legislators have been bickering and griping and promising to accomplish something to fix the schools, but so far, it's not amounted to much. I just recently heard about the ProgressiveU scholarship and thought I'd give it a shot. I guess I should start by saying hello and getting through the formalities.

My name is Fallon. I'm 22 years old. I live in Little Rock, AR with my husband, my sister and her two babies. I attend Kaplan University via the Internet (gotta love that). I am currently working towards my bachelors in criminal justice and then on to my masters in forensic psychology and eventually a law degree. I'm a pretty good student, I guess. I've managed to make it thus far with a 4.0.. so I'm happy. I am a certified nursing assistant. I do the home health aspect of things, and thoroughly enjoy my job.
