I was recently reminded of a little story I'd forgotten about. Two years ago, one of my friends, who's a few years younger than me, took the required health class at her high school. When I took that class I went to the same school, but had a different teacher. Thank the Lawd I did.  Read More »

Marrying a Cousin

Tagged:  •    •    •

I recently found out that an aunt on my father's side of the family, who I am not very familiar with, is married to her cousin. They've been married for a good 15 years or so. She had been in a previous marriage and had four children with that husband.  Read More »

Donald Trump and His Flag: One Big Patriotic Excuse.

Tagged:  •    •    •

My dad turned on CNN earlier this evening and Nancy Grace (http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/nancy.grace/) was on. Now, I'd never seen the show before, but immediately I disliked this woman. My dislike turned to mild hatred when she brought up this controversy about Donald Trump flying the American flag "too high" at some hotel he owns in Palm Beach. Why is this whole situation so ridiculous?  Read More »
