I was reading my school newspaper the other day and came across an article addressing Barack Obama coming to Boise. Since my political candidate dropped out of the race I figured I should start reading up on other candidates, mainly Obama and Clinton. But to my surprise there was nothing in the article addressing any of Obama’s political views.
So the other day my friends and I had an interesting conversation addressing the rise of prison population and how the issue should be solved. Some of these ideas are not mine but of my friends, and I warn you right now if you have ethical issues DO NOT read this, these are highly controversial solutions and these are only ideas that were bounced around between five or six people.
Have you ever been on a sports team? If you have, or maybe even if you haven’t, have you ever noticed the hierarchy of the team? Or maybe even the social structure of the team? I’ve noticed the same traits in every sports team that I have been on, and sometimes even the academic teams.
Mormonism is one of those religions that not very many people really understand. More so, it’s a religion that people don’t like to take the time to actually learn about. They make their assumptions that Mormons: don’t drink, swear, or do drugs, they tend to have large families, have “special” underwear, wrote their own bible, and do “secret” rituals in their temples.
