Many people ask well is there a God? When I was a child my dad told a joke in spanish about a student who was in class. They were talking about evolution and the kid stood up and said, "we did not evolve, God created us". The teacher told the kid to sit down and look outside. She then said, "look at the sky, do you see a God? No. Then that means that he does not exist". So the child stood up again and said to his classmates, "Well everyone see's the teacher, but does she have a brain? So I hear President George Walker Bush approved to sign a bill to construct a border to block immigrants coming from Mexico. Okay first of all I'm hispanic so I find this funny and interesting. Well first of all I love my hispanic people and don't want to offend anyone but let me ask you? Who do you think is going to build the wall, fence, border whatever you want to call it? Of course its going to be at least some latinos constructing it. But here is the problem, maybe if it occurs to some of them, they would probably make a whole in the ground or do something (like a hidden pathway i dunno... ive heard of stuff like that). In reality I know that if hispanics do build it, they would create it to according to their own needs...             The world is a mystery with so many questions left unanswered. Our living standards have improved due to the curiosity of scientists and because of those who believe that the sky is not the limit. Many may ask “what is the purpose of life?” and others may respond by saying, “to reproduce”. However, I think that we are here in order to develop ways in which one and others can live a better life. With this in mind, I personally want to use what I learn in engineering in order to enhance technology. Hence, creating something useful in which human kind can benefit from.  I don’t want to have a profession just because it will pay well, but I want one in which I can travel to third world countries in order to help them. My personal life would be to therefore consist of building homes to those who have suffered because of wars, natural disasters, and poverty. A profession is a privilege and I soon hope to use it at the best of my abilities. There are many people out there in need and without a hand, they will are left helpless like a bird without wings.  Read More »
