If an article is instrinsic to your idea then link to it or quote it.  Please do not just repost an article, generally without citing its origins, and then add one blindingly obvious or pointless thought at the end.  What is the point of this.  We can all find news on our own or read a story in its original context if you give us a link.

            Rush Limbaugh’s most avid supporter’s are called “Dittoheads.”   They are called this because of their uncanny tendency to take Rush’s ideas as their own.  The best indicator of this would be the wonderfully subtle “Rush is Right” merchandise.  The right refers to correctness, not political standing.  He has 10 million listeners, is a huge hypocrite (drug addiction scandal) and treads the line between serious political commentary and comedy.  He disgusts me, and his listeners more so.  Read More »

            Believe it or not, I don’t have a problem with a chemical generation.  A new chemical culture is growing up in our backyard.  I just don’t like the way the garden is being tended, and I don’t like the smell of the fertilizer they are using.  Medication is the answer to many problems these days, has been since the 50’s, the first pill popping mommies on tranquilizers and Quaaludes driving their kids to tennis practice and making dinner for Daddy.  Now from first grade on your mood and activity levels are monitored and altered with anti-depressants and Ritalin and whatever else they can think of.  .  Read More »

            The only things we know about the most prominent figures in our culture and our society is their well-groomed speeches and what read about them.  Think of all the hyped up counter-culture that has happened in the past: the Libertines, the Beats, the hippies and the ravers, all espousing new ideas about living, new ideas about culture.  But what happened?  They got hyped by the media, turned into clowns or objects or heretics and lost their powers as changers.  We only know what we read about them, and “They” only write what sells papers and magazines.  Read More »

I hate junkies, any kind of junkie really, but drug junkies the most.  Especially drug junkies who were saved by Jesus.  I honestly wish these guys and gals would just stick the needles back in their arms and their straws back in their noses and stop worrying about my soul and my fun.  And I also wish they would get a better idea of who is responsible for their problems and who is responsible for their "saving."  Read More »

            The Christian God cannot exist.  As best as I can figure he is a logical impossibility.  Now to follow me here you will need to accept the terms of logical possibility.  So, to be logically possible a thing cannot both have a quality and lack it at the same time.  Something cannot be both evil and good or holy and unholy or wet and dry.  I don’t think anybody is going to have any problems accepting this principle.  So what are the key qualities that define the Christian God?  Read More »

            Hide your children and so on because they may actually learn something.  I am going to go over the reasons drugs are made illegal, the lies the government tells you about them and some ways to therapeutically and recreationally use drugs safely.  We are gonna examine the criteria necessary to make a substance illegal and see how many of these criteria each illegal substance qualifies for.  We will cover in general and drug by drug.  I won’t be citing too many statistics.  I am not submitting this little essay for congressional review.  These are my impressions of the facts from a lot of "reading."  Read More »
