Can't spell crap without rap.

Pimping is not a good thing.  Pimping is facilitating women selling their bodies in unsafe environments, at demeaning prices.  Pimping is having to pay your friends to hang around.  Pimping is never having a girlfriend who doesn't expect a gift with every date.  Pimping is a disgusting, low practice.

Being called a ho or a bitch is absolutely unacceptable.  I can't imagine women, especially an entire race of women submitting to such derogatory terms as the standard of address.  I realize that it is slang, but he doesn't just mean girl or woman.  He means bitch.  No one who refers to all women as bitches has anything but disdain and sex on his mind.  Read More »

Sex and the sexes

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

Women and men view sex very differently.  This is obviously rather cultural and driven by popular portrayals, but it boils down to something very simple.  Men and boys will do almost anything, stereotypically, to say that they have had sex with a desirable woman.  There virginity is something to be lost quickly, whereas girls and women will hem and haw to preserve their virgininity and be able to say they didn't have sex.  Read More »

Another Idiotic War We Fight Everyday

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •

Well, I was going to write an essay, but it got very, very long.  In response I have boiled down some of the problems I see with our ridiculous War on Drugs.  This isn't even everything I thought of, but the list was starting to get kind of long too.

Some Funky Quotes

Tagged:  •    •    •

I find these quotes amusing, insightful, odd or they just tickle my fancy.  I love quotes, but have a hard time remembering who said what, so forgive me if they are unaccounted for.

“Kill one and you are a murderer.  Kill ten thousand and you are a conqueror.  Kill all and you are a God.”  Read More »

I am so tired of sob stories

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •

Please do not use your personal sob stories to justify bringing the rest of us down.  Your personal story can be a perfect way to give people perspective, witness redneckhunter’s homeless people blog, but it is not necessarily a reason for a sweeping law.  Just because your brother died of alcohol poisoning, or you were addicted to coke doesn’t mean the rest of us shouldn’t get a chance to avoid your mistakes.  Mostly I am talking about drugs and alcohol here.  Read More »

More Britney News! j/k It's All About Morality!

Tomorrow the entire world, every person over the age of sixteen at least, is going to sit down and write out, to the best of their ability, their own personal moral standards.  Those who cannot write will be given recording devices and asked to explain their moral standards verbally.  There will be no restrictions or judgments placed on these morals.  You may echo whichever holy book you like or create an entirely personal standard.  These are the morals by which you are to live your life.  Read More »

A little titch on Natural Law

Tagged:  •    •    •

I have heard a lot of people referring to natural law on this site in the last week or two.  A lot of these people seem to have no conception of what natural law means.  Most of them don’t even try to define natural law or openly admit that they don’t know what it means.  They just use it to mean whatever they think is right or assume that their opinion is natural.  Read More »

Are all these deaths worth it?

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •

Let’s do a thought experiment, do you mind?  Okay, thanks.  Let us suppose that in the near future we invent a teleporter.  We can quickly send people and resources between points on the globe.  The energy required is not horrendous and the world remains reasonably unchanged.  We don’t need to build a thousand new nuclear reactors or anything like that.   Read More »
