On May 19,2007 the WNBA finally opened its 11th season!

On March 5, 2007, Balfour came to our school and we got all of our graduation stuff out the way.

  For the last couple of days there have been media oulets honoring two great men in society. These men are now dead. One died in 1985 and the other died on April 3,2007 his Grambling, Louisiana. I'm talking about one of baseball greatest men and one of footballs' greatest men. I'm talking about Jackie Robinson and Coach Eddie Robinson Sr.

   Rutgers University women's basketball team has my up most respect! Why you ask?

Well my favorite time of the year is over. Sadly, there will be no more college games for me to watch. Now I must get ready for those 7game series in the NBA and of course the WNBA season. I just can't wait.

This month,for me, as turned in some ups and downs. First off my role model that I had in Pokey Chatman has taken a turn. I still pray that whatever she's going through she comes out of it ok. But you must consider this, all of this came out at when the time of women's basketball is actually being noticed and appreciated.

I guess she is gone for good. How sad no more Pokey, just alot of speculations, rumors, stunned faces, and questions waiting to be answered. We don't know anything yet, all we know is that whatever the problem is, it better get fixed. Whether it's another student/athelete and coach situation or another coach leaving for money-it is sad to see her leave.

  I guess we can add other coach to the "coach changing" list!!
